Marketing/Promotional and Administrative Assistant Assist to develop, organize and manage administrative and marketing/promotional operations for growing summer language camps and enrichment programs. Prepare correspondence such as letters and presentations. Responsible for updating content on multiple communication channels such as website, Facebook, and email account. Support marketing, promotion, recruiting, registration and administrative efforts as needed. Respond to routine correspondence and inquiries. Experience and interest in international/multi-cultural disciplines. Spanish helpful but not required. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, email and other software.
Small Group Leaders needed for after school and other enrichment groups for children and adults. Candidates need experience in leading and teaching small groups in Spanish or French and should be dynamic, energetic, make learning fun and have experience working with kids. Native or near-native ability in the language is required and international experience helpful. Availability to travel to site for one-hour sessions.
Senior Counselors Native or near-native ability in the language is required as well as international experience. Senior counselors need experience in leading and teaching small groups in Spanish or French and should be dynamic, energetic, make learning fun and have experience working with kids. Also should enjoy leading games, song and other camp activities.
Junior Counselors Junior counselors should have experience in leading and assisting with games, song, craft and other camp activities with a highly proficient level of Spanish or French. Counselors must be fun, energetic and not afraid to make a fool of themselves! Previous camp counselor experience is helpful.
Cook Part-time (4 hours per day) opportunity for day camps and full-time (8 hours per day) opportunity for several weeks of overnight camps. Should have experience in cooking for groups of 20 or more and comfortable interacting with campers and talking about foods and food preparation. Proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
Counselors-in-Training assist and learn from counselors at camp and assist with games, song, craft and other camp activities. Must be fun and energetic and not afraid to be silly! Previous experience at a camp is very helpful. Proficiency in French or Spanish required. Application and interview required. This is an excellent opportunity to be immersed in the language while learning leadership skills as a camp counselor. CITs receive a significant tuition discount off of camp tuition.
